The Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema comes alive every January and offers awards to exceptional films and artists. It was first organized in 2009, under the working name the Idyllwild Film Festival. Film screenings are held in the Rustic Theatre and Caine Theatres.

An Idyllwild tradition, the Eye of the Artist is the our second largest fundraiser and considered one of the largest art parties in town. This popular AAI art fair aims to get art into the homes of Idyllwild residents and visitors to the hill. This fun-filled art fair, as in the past two years, allows attendees to purchase art (jewelry, paintings, photography, etc.) for under $100! Perfect timing for Valentine's Day shopping with FREE admission to the public. Fair open 10am-4pm at Idyllwild Town Hall in center of town. Just follow the signs or call 951-692-6135.

Every September, on the second Saturday after Labor Day, IAHS stages a driving tour of five distinctive early and modern homes never before open to the public. Enjoy refreshments at the museum during the tour.

Art Walk and Wine Tasting

Hosted by the Idyllwild Art Alliance, it is their most popular fundraiser of the year and hosts 18 of Southern California's favorite wineries at art locations around Idyllwild.

They sold out last year and anticipate another stellar year. They have not increased the number of available tickets, so we recommend that wine enthusiasts purchase tickets by mid September to take advantage of discounted prices.

The annual Halloween Carnival is bigger than ever and the Art Alliance of Idyllwild has been invited to participate. For those of you that are not artists, this is your chance to paint without any judging! You do NOT need to be an artist and you do NOT need to be a member to participate. In other words, it is all about having some good ole' hometown fun!

Enjoy fine craft beers from 15 breweries (wine available, too), great food, and a rockin' blues band all while raising funds for Idyllwild Animal Rescue Friends. This festival takes place at the beautiful Idyllwild Nature Center in the San Jacinto mountains. Pre-sale $25, at gate $30, non-drinkers $5. Well mannered dogs and children are welcome!
